Auto Off Topic is a weekly podcast where we talk cars, adventures with cars or anything that might be related to cars. We’ll even have the occasional guest.We’ll share the highs and lows of old car/project car ownership. We’ll tell cautionary tales about rusty bolts, blown head gaskets, snapped timing belts, spun bearings, janky wiring and how we fixed them. When not wrenching, we enjoy back road driving and our local Cars and Coffee. The hosts Brad DeSantis and Andrew Pascarella are two car enthusiasts who have been best friends for over 30 years. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. In this episode, Andrew goes over a few corrections and omissions. Then Brad and Andrew got to drive the performance bargain that is the C5 Z06 and give thanks for V8 torque. We then discuss the first episode of Grand Gear Top Tour, what we liked and what we didn't, and our hopes for future episodes. In the back half of the podcast we get real nerdy on 1/24 scale cars. Brad and Andrew meander through this car fire of an episode. The Subaru fails inspection for a dumb reason. Fucking snow tires, just get them. The Grand Tour starts on Thursday night and your entire car world on the internet will be consumed by it. We give you unwanted opinions on car shows and discuss patina. Meanwhile, the Narragansett beer blows right through us and we ended this episode a little short. Then Andrew butchered the catchphrase at the end. Too soon Junior.
